【MORNING HAS BROKEN, AND THE COFFEE HAS SPOKEN】

Coffee is a widely popular drink. In my opinion general percentage of population can’t function throughout the day without it.
A lot of well-known and established coffee shop can be found everywhere but there are also local shops that is considered underrated in my opinion that worth to visit.
Without further ado, I would like to introduce the local café I went during my day off.
It’s a small coffeeshop with cozy, vintage, European countryside interior style. The place giving homey vibes.
Looking at their menu, I can’t decide which should I choose because it seems everything taste good. So I pick randomly.
Drinks:
1 Honey Coffee Conreche ハニーカフェコンレーチェ
- It’s a hot drink.
- Three (3) layered coffee drink: underneath is Honey, then middle is the conreche then the upper level is Foam with coffee bean topping.
- Had to stir before drinking it.
- It taste very sweet (but I won’t mind, I have a sweet tooth)
2 Shekelato シェケラート
-Cold Drink.
-It’s a Black Coffee I think, with foam and coffee bean topping.
-Taste of coffee too strong so in order to negate the bitter taste I am eating it with the dessert at the same time.
Dessert:
1 St. Croix Wind Belgian Waffle St.Croix風ベルギーワッフル
2 Takahara Chocolate Gateau 高原のガトーショコラ
I did enjoy and had a great time drinking coffee and eating dessert. Not only it taste so good but the food plating is also nice.
Did you know that before the food ever touches your tongue, you’ve tasted it?
That may sound impossible but we first look on how food presents (aside from the smell). Whether it looks appetite or not. In food presentation, it’s the way chef/barista bring personality on their dishes/drinks. It is called visual taste (the food) before it ever hits your tongue.
Food presentation is the key to pulling all five senses into the experience of eating.
Smell nice, Salivating to see, Taste delicious.
